چکیده

The relative intensities of rotational lines in resolved fluorescence spectra are dependent on the detection direction and the choice of the detection scheme when a grating monochromator is used. These differences arise from the spatially anisotropic distribution of the fluorescence, the rotational branch dependence of the fluorescence polarization, and the polarization dependence of the monochromator grating efficiency. Both the anisotropy of the emission and the rotational branch dependence of the fluorescence polarization are enhanced in double-resonance excitation schemes. In the present work, we analyze the relative intensities in the (7)Li(2) 1(3)Sigma(-)(g) --> 1(b)(3)Pi(u) and 1(3)Delta(g) --> 1(b)(3)Pi(u) resolved fluorescence spectra, observed following double-resonance excitation, for three different detection schemes. Determination of time-resolved fluorescence emission spectra and anisotropies of a fluorophore-protein complex using frequency-domain phase-modulation fluorometry.

We report the first time-resolved fluorescence emission spectra and time-resolved fluorescence anisotropies obtained using frequency-domain fluorescence spectroscopy. We examined the fluorophore p-2-toluidinyl-6-naphthalenesulfonic acid (TNS) in viscous solvents and bound to the heme site of apomyoglobin using multifrequency phase fluorometers. Fluorescence phase shift and modulation data were ...

Simultaneous Determination of Ibuprofen and Caffeine in Urine Samples by Combining MCR-ALS and Excitation-emission Data

Second order advantage of excitation-emission fluorescence matrix was applied for the simultaneous determination of ibuprofen and caffeine. The proposed method is based on the measurement of the native fluorescence and recording emission spectra of ibuprofen and caffeine in different excitation wavelengths. The mixture of these compounds was resolved by multivariate curve resolution coupled wit...

Experimental verification of strong rotational dependence of fluorescence and predissociation yield in the b1Πu(v = 1) level of 14N2.

New, rotationally resolved fluorescence-excitation spectra confirm coupled-channel Schrödinger-equation predictions of strong rotational dependence of the fluorescence and predissociation yields in the b(v = 1) level of (14)N(2).

Solution dynamics of p21ras proteins bound with fluorescent nucleotides: a time-resolved fluorescence study.

The solution dynamics of normal and transforming p21ras proteins in both the GTP- and GDP-bound forms were examined with time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. The fluorescent 2'(3')-O-(N-methylanthraniloyl) derivatives (mant derivatives) of GTP, dGTP, and GDP and the aminocoumarin and fluorescein derivatives of GTP and GDP were synthesized and used as reporter groups. The fluorescence lifeti...

Study of rotational dynamics of receptor-targeted contrast agents in cancerous and normal prostate tissues using time-resolved picosecond emission spectroscopy.

We studied the time-resolved polarization-dependent fluorescence spectroscopy of receptor-targeted contrast agents (Cybesin and Cytate) bound with prostate cancer cells in prostate tissue. An analytical model dealing with highly viscous tissue media was developed and used to investigate the rotation times and fluorescence anisotropies of the receptor-targeted contrast agents in prostate tissue....
